Last updated: September 1, 2026
Sahel NightLife (“SNL”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is a nightlife, lifestyle, events and discovery platform operated by Promozy Digital S.A.E. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use sahelnightlife.com, create a My SNL account, sign in with a social provider, save events or venues, request or download SNL SNAPS, make booking requests, or otherwise interact with our services.
1. Information you provide to us
Depending on the features you use, you may provide information such as your full name, email address, password, mobile number, WhatsApp number, country, city, gender, date of birth, Instagram username, profile photo, booking details, saved events, favorite venues, SNAP requests, partnership inquiries and messages you send to us.
2. Information received from social sign-in providers
If you choose to sign in using Google, Facebook or Apple, we may receive account information that the provider makes available to us and that you authorize us to access. This can include your display name, email address, profile photo and a provider-specific account identifier. The exact information depends on the provider, your provider settings and the permissions shown to you during sign-in.
We do not receive or store your Google, Facebook or Apple password. Social sign-in authentication is handled by the relevant provider.
3. My SNL profile information
We may ask you to complete your My SNL profile after sign-in so that we can connect your account to bookings, saved content and photo-related features. Profile fields may include your full name, email, mobile, WhatsApp, country, city, gender, date of birth, Instagram username and profile image.
4. SNL SNAPS and photo features
When you browse an SNL SNAPS album, you may be able to like, share, download, request an original file or request removal of a photo. We may associate these actions with your My SNL account so that requests and downloads can be managed securely and so that we can respond to privacy or removal requests.
Photos published in SNL SNAPS may depict guests at public or private events covered by SNL. If you believe a photo of you should be removed, you can contact us using the details below and identify the relevant album or image.
5. Bookings, events and venue interactions
If you submit a booking or reservation request, we may collect information such as your name, contact details, selected event or venue, date, party size and any notes you provide. Where a booking is completed through a third-party booking provider, WhatsApp or another external service, that provider’s privacy terms also apply to the information you provide directly to them.
6. Technical, device and usage information
When you use our website, we and our service providers may automatically receive technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, approximate location derived from IP, referring pages, pages viewed, timestamps and diagnostic or security information. We may use cookies or similar technologies for essential website functionality, account sessions, security, analytics and performance.
7. How we use information
We may use information to:
- create, authenticate and manage My SNL accounts;
- provide saved events, favorite venues, bookings and personalized account features;
- enable SNAPS downloads, likes, sharing, original-file requests and removal requests;
- operate event, venue, guide, story, moment and news features;
- respond to inquiries, support requests and commercial partnership requests;
- send service-related communications, confirmations, security notices or account messages;
- prevent fraud, abuse and unauthorized access;
- measure and improve website performance, content and user experience;
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
8. Google user data
When you use Google Sign-In, SNL requests only the information needed to authenticate your account and provide My SNL features, such as basic identity, email and profile information where authorized by you.
SNL’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will follow the Google API Services User Data Policy, including applicable Limited Use requirements.
9. When we share information
We may share information only as reasonably necessary to operate the service, including with hosting, infrastructure, analytics, email, security, authentication, storage and booking service providers acting on our behalf. We may also share information when you ask us to, when a transaction or booking requires it, when required by law, or when necessary to protect users, SNL or others.
We do not disclose your social sign-in password because we never receive it.
10. Service providers and external links
Our website may contain links to Instagram, Facebook, Google, Apple, WhatsApp, ticketing platforms, booking platforms, maps, venues and other third-party services. When you leave SNL or interact directly with a third-party service, that service’s own privacy policy applies.
11. Data retention
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including account administration, bookings, security, legal obligations, dispute resolution and business records. Retention periods may differ depending on the type of data and the reason it is held.
12. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No online system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Users should protect their account credentials and notify us if they believe their account has been compromised.
13. Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to access, correct or delete personal information associated with your account, object to or restrict certain processing, or withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You can also request account deletion by following our Data Deletion instructions or contacting us.
14. Account and data deletion
You may request deletion of your My SNL account and associated personal information by emailing info@sahelnightlife.com from the email address connected to your account with the subject “Delete My SNL Account”. We may need to verify your identity before completing a deletion request. Certain records may be retained where required for legal, security, fraud-prevention or accounting purposes.
15. International processing
Some technology providers we use may process information in countries other than the country where you are located. Where required, we take reasonable steps to use appropriate safeguards for such processing.
16. Age-restricted content
SNL covers nightlife, venues and events, some of which may have age restrictions imposed by the venue, organizer or applicable law. Users are responsible for complying with the age and entry rules of each event or venue.
17. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our services, technology or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page shows when this policy was most recently revised.

Identity verification, QR and venue access
When you request My SNL verification, we may temporarily process a selfie and the front and back of an Egyptian ID or a passport image so an authorised SNL verification manager can compare the submitted identity information. These raw files are private, are not published in the WordPress Media Library, and are permanently deleted after the review decision. We retain only the verification decision, relevant audit information and the account’s verified status where required to provide the service.
For confirmed bookings, SNL may create a personal QR and record check-in status, time, booking reference, assigned event and venue. Authorised venue managers and door staff can access only the operational information needed for their assigned venue. Venue managers may export permitted booking and guest contact information for legitimate booking, entry and guest-management purposes. Access is role-based and logged where supported.
